Career Bridge CNA Program
The Career Bridge CNA Program is a workforce initiative created by Veterans With A Purpose to train individuals to become Certified Nursing Assistants prepared to work in home healthcare serving veterans.
In Georgia, CNA certification is required to work in home healthcare. This program removes that barrier by preparing participants for the state exam and covering certification costs. In just 6 weeks, participants gain the skills, confidence, and support needed to begin a meaningful career helping veterans live safely and independently in their homes.
How The Program Works
CNA Training Preparation
Participants complete a 6 week training program designed to prepare them for the Georgia CNA certification exam. Training includes patient care, safety procedures, communication, and hands-on caregiving skills with a focus on home healthcare.
CNA Certification Support
We cover the cost of the Georgia CNA state exam so participants can become certified without financial burden. This includes both required components: the written exam and the hands-on skills exam.
Veteran-Focused Home Healthcare Training
Participants are trained specifically to work in home healthcare settings that serve veterans. This includes understanding the unique needs of veterans and providing compassionate, respectful care in a home environment.
